To view this newsletter in the browser, click here                 Issue #119       A newsletter from Creativegarh to help you live a life of passion, purpose and meaning.         Love should have no invoices and receipts.                     Never has a single bee ever sent you an invoice for all the honey it has produced for you. Never has the sun or the moon or the trees or the wind sent a bill for showing up every day, unconditionally, every single day of our lives. Never has the universe sent a statement of account for always having your back in times of happiness and sorrow, joy and despair, abundance and lack.           Love in the universal language and has to be free, totally unconditional, with no invoices and receipts. As free as the swaying of the tree, the light of the sun, the beauty of the landscape, the calm of the wind, the milk of the mother.           But knowingly and unknowingly we send out invoices for our love expecting that our kindness, compassion, empathy and generosity will yield us results and help us buy someone’s love, acceptance, care and belonging.           We love so we can be loved in return. We care so we are told how lovely and kind we are. We are kind because we want to be seen as helpful and compassionate. We give so that we are told how generous and strong we are. We bring up our children, seemingly unconditionally, but we make our love conditional, that they only get the best, most loving version of us when they behave, have their meals on time, mirror our ‘good’ habits, study hard, get a scholarship, marry with our choice and approval and take care of us when we get old. All these are undercover invoices.           And children learn early on that they have to buy the love of their parents and caregivers by behaving in an acceptable way, thus losing their authentic voice and expression, by having meals on time, by studying hard, winning scholarships and taking care of old, ailing parents and loving them unconditionally even if they can’t. And then a new circle of conditional love starts.           And thus, unconditional love becomes a conditional transaction. A give and take, a buy and sell, of invoices and receipts, of what ifs and what if nots, of conditioning and programming, of beliefs and dogmas, of prejudices and dictats.           Love and serve without conditions. Just like the universe loves and serves you through the sun, moon, wind, trees, and people it sends into your life.                 Think of miracles as the storyline and reality as the plot twist.                     When one fine moment you choose to show up for yourself to honour your gifts, talents and purpose, the universe starts showing off.           It blows the bugle; it sends smoke signals to distant galaxies; it creates a Gantt chart for a six year project plan for your idea to come to fruition; it calls all your ancestors for a felicitation ceremony; it calls all your guides and gurus to thank them for their devotion to holding space for you; it calls your angels for an emergency briefing to armour up with the best weaponry and stalk every breath that you take; it calls on all the divine infantry and asks them to clear the path for you to walk on; it speed-dials the creators of parallel universes to have them create a green corridor for the ideas that will drop into your consciousness; it calls its intelligence department and asks for an overnight deck on what new ideas need to exist in the world that the universe can co-create with you; it talks to the pulsars and quasars and asks them to get ready for fireworks; it asks some dying stars to create theatrical smoke and fog; it asks all birds to release a new single; it asks all the roses on the planet to dab more perfume for the next few days; it asks trees to wave to the mountains to wake them from their slumber; it tells the flowers to produce more nectar; it requests the sun to shine brighter so the flowers can bloom; it asks the clouds to rain in unison so that the pitter patter creates a new symphony; it asks bees to produce more honey; it asks the colour palette to show up for an early autumn paint job; it asks all dolphins and whales to have a Zoom call with all the sea weeds so they can clean the ocean, double shift; it sends a memo for all penguins to show up for a happy dance; it has a dinner meeting with the poetry devtas to send more ideas to the couplet writers on earth to inspire you; it speaks with the Gods of art to think out of the box so that artists can have more disruptive ideas to make the planet beautiful; it asks ‘signs from the universe' action group to create a subtle sign as an inspiration for you, a tiny seed, a germ of an idea.           The experts of signals and signs train with a Monarch butterfly to cross your path on your morning walk and get your attention so that you can see it as a sign and get inspired to transform your life.           It's miracles, miracles, miracles all around.           You step out of home, the entire universe and its creations watch with bated breath as the nervous butterfly flutters its wings to live its purpose and get noticed by you.           The moment is here. You smell the fresh morning. You feel there is something different in the air. You start walking and as you take a few steps, you get caught in the chatter of the mind. A monarch butterfly pirouettes around you, and you swat her away.           A dreary, collective sigh is heard in the heavens.           Poof! Up in smoke go all the miracles.           And the painful reality that you are not willing to let go of what creates the plot twist.
