The most magnetic thing on earth
is loving your energy.

The most magnetic thing on Earth is loving your own energy. A person who loves himself
or herself wholly, fully, magically is the most attractive person on the planet.

To find love in the world, you have to become the most loving person in the room. And you can only become the most beautiful, loving person by loving yourself for everything you are, everything you have been, everything you want to be.

But how do you love yourself fully? By knowing yourself fully. Because you can only love someone as much as you know someone. And you can only love yourself as much as you know yourself.

So put those fingers to work, get that derriere off the couch where it has left indelible imprints, get those feet moving, one after the other and simply follow your first instinct to give, love and create. Because in loving, giving and creating lie the answers we seek to life and beyond.

And truth be told, we don’t really know ourselves enough to love ourselves enough, forget wholly and unconditionally. We know ourselves as much as others have told us about us.
We know ourselves – more as an idea of us that we have created to survive in the world – but the truth about who we really are evades us. We know ourselves only as much as we are consciously present in the world; living 95% in autopilot mode is an abysmal level of self-awareness and presence. We know ourselves by the labels we have attached ourselves to, our little attachments that keep us languishing in a spin cycle of smallness.

And we are human beings – we immediately shun, hate, dismiss or reject what we don’t understand. So effectively, we reject 95% of us without even knowing why. That’s a lot
of self-hate and very little self-love.

But then again, how do you love yourself more?

Let’s assume that you are an introvert and that’s how you probably know yourself. That’s only how much you know about yourself. And that’s how much you probably love or hate yourself. But as you realise in your quest for more self-awareness that your reclusiveness comes from a coping mechanism – keeping to yourself and not having an opinion was the way you felt safe and loved – you start knowing yourself more, and your capacity to love yourself
and others increases.

Then comes the hard work of turning self-hate into self-love, of accepting your introverted nature and integrating it into your wholeness journey with love. Self-love is not about becoming the best version of yourself. It’s about accepting every version of yourself.
But before everything, knowing those versions of yourself that operate from your subconscious.

As you accept yourself fully, you love yourself wholly. And as you love yourself wholly,
your energy raises the whole damn frequency of the planet.

The novel that never got published. The recipe that never got made. The painting that never got completed. The tune that never got fully composed. The poem on the napkin that never got finished. The wall that never got coloured. The journal that was left half way.
The poncho that was left half knitted. The phone call that was left unanswered because you wanted more time. The car that was researched on but never bought. The vacation that never moved out of the planning stage. The job that was applied for but never followed through on. The pictures that were made but never edited. The glue gun that still lies unpacked - the one bought after three days of intense research and reading every review. The day spent buying old classics so you could put them in your home library. The pottery session that went fine but you never went to that part of the city ever again. The play you watched all alone and the calls you made to directors thereafter wanting to play a part.
The shopping for Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco because you wanted to bring alive the hidden bartender in you. The walks in the park wanting to understand the secret lives of birds and earthworms.

The shoddy writing, the grotty acting, the tatty sewing, the slipshod painting, the messy cooking, the inelegant dancing, the unsavoury life choices.

The weekend in pyjamas. The weekday being unproductive. The bus ride to nowhere.
The long detour in the car. The purposeless walk in the park. The unfinished to-do list.
The uncountable hours of daydreaming. The time spent watching strangers in coffee shops and sidewalks. The unplanned midday naps. The hours spent on ideas that never saw the light of day.

A hobby that remained what it was meant to be - a hobby and not a side hustle.
A side hustle that took away the best of you but never took off.

Deep conversations with oneself late into the nights. The brawls with the inner demons. The fights with one’s resistance. The arguments with your higher self. The pillow talk with your inner child.

Life is not measured in productivity but presence. No time spent with yourself is wasted time. It’s sacred time.
