  Sacred and silly can belong
in the same room.

You can be wise and you can be absolutely ridiculous. You could sit in meditation all day and still feel the need to slap someone. You can be a deep thinker but also who can roll on the floor laughing at cat memes. You could be the seeker of truth and also the person who forgets his passwords every day.

In this beautiful world, there’s a place for the whole of you. You can be deeply spiritual and still love watching Bigg Boss. You can believe in divine timing and still get frustrated when the flight is delayed. You can be full of love and set strong, immovable boundaries. You can enjoy silence and dance like a wild thing at a house party. You can be the healer and still need healing. You can be kind and generous and still say no. You can trust the Universe and still double-check the door lock three times. You can do shadow work and still be terrified of spiders. You can lead others and admit you don’t have it all figured out. You can be grounded in the now and dream wildly of the future. You can believe in karma and still swear when you stub your toe. You can love the mystery and still want answers to the crossword.
You can be sacred and silly, ancient and ridiculous, all in the same breath.

We are not either/or – we are and/also. We are not contradictions and neither are we flawed. We are just fully human, dancing the foxtrot between sacred and silly; maun vrats and karaoke nights; ancient stardust and present-day mess; dad jokes and dharma; making love and making jokes. Because we know that a bad pun sometimes heals more than an entire book of philosophy. Because we know that when we call our emotional baggage a griefcase, we make things a lot lighter than a meditation on letting go.

Monks giggle and play pickleball. Saints stumble and wear Crocs with tongues. Yogis hate bottle gourd juice and don’t know that tomatoes are actually fruits. Seers also laugh at a good joke. Pandits smile. Gods play board games and priests run marathons.
Rumi writes poems about drunken joy and divine longing in the same breath.
Spiritual seekers can write erotica and about the lust for life in the same flow.

True wisdom is in not taking yourself so seriously that seriousness becomes another identity for you and spiritual ego to hold on to. The more awakened someone is, the less they cling to a fixed image of being awakened. The ego seeks significance. The soul delights in simplicity and silliness.

The universe isn’t expectating you to be perfect. Just whole. That includes the depth of your being and your ridiculous grin with those deep set dimple .

A life transformation program.

May you be the love you seek
in this world.

May you love each moment so fully that when the moment is over, it would seem like that just in that one moment you’ve lived a hundred years. May you pour your love into what you do that you leave a mark so strong that time can’t erase it, but a mark so tender that your you-ness remains even when you don’t.

When you dance, may you dance with so much abandon that you leave everyone in awe but when the dance is over, only the dance remains and the dancer
dissolves into the dance.

May you give so much anonymously that your anonymity becomes a celebrity and what remains is just the outcome of your generosity and not you. May you give so much of yourself to a stranger that you remain a stranger but the strange life that someone is having becomes a joyful life in a magical twist of the tale.

May you love so much and may your light reach the depths of someone so that one day if the sun decides to take a day off, they still have your love to nourish their being without ever knowing where the light is coming from.

May your kindness evoke a sense of astonishment that people realise that miracles are all around them, it’s reality that’s the plot twist. May you disappear into your kindness that only the act remains and not the actor. And when your ancestors watch this act, their eyes well as they heal from their generational traumas.

May you not see people as good or bad, ugly or beautiful, poor or rich, young or old but as light beings. And just your presence makes them shine brighter, a few watts brighter than yesterday. May you have that affect on every life that you touch. May you leave people happier, joyful, purposeful, more fulfilled than you find them.

May you know that it’s not the words that you speak to others that make you a beautiful person but the words that you speak to yourself. How you show up for yourself with kindness, how you hug yourself, how you are generous with your own growth and evolution. May you see that it is maybe, just maybe difficult to love someone at a human level. But at the soul level, you understand just love. And that happens when you lose
your human-ness but not your humane-ness.

May you be the love you seek in this world.
