To a point of being called a spammer. But all the universe is doing is nudging you towards finding your own calling, yourself, your gifts, your purpose.           Sometimes, it's just one ring. A gentle nudge through a random word that pops up when you are reading a text message, a number sequence, a song playing in the Uber, through whispers, dreams and thoughts, through angels and cheerleaders, through birds and bees, through ants and elephants, through road signs and milestones, through leaves and pages, through karma and intuition, through magic and miracles.           Sometimes it's a missed call. Just a reminder to call back. To sit in silence, let go of all control, accept and surrender and know that the universe always has your back. It's an invitation to let go, drop everything and come back home to the warm embrace of the divine.           At times it's a call at an unearthly hour. Just to shake you out of your slumber and awaken you, to guide you towards saving yourself from an impending situation of suffering. This call is to rattle you out of your comfort zone.           Once in a while it's a wakeup call. To get up, put on your shoes, hit the road and change your life by taking action. To drop all the victimhood, dogmas, beliefs, prejudices and dial up a new beginning. Now.           It could also be an automated reminder call. Of faith. That the universe never runs out of ideas for books music, recipes, homes, friends, money, love. You just have to tap in.           Then there's also a blank call. The universe does not speak but you realise its presence on the other end of the line. And when you sit there for an extended moment with the receiver to your ear, you realise that the silence is yours entirely and the entire universe speaks from the inside of you.           And you never know, sometimes what seems like a blank scam call could also be just a reminder that there will always be enough abundance for you. And you only get scammed to believe the opposite by your own thoughts.           Many times, it would seem like the universe is drunk dialling. Yes, even if you have walked out of the universe's flow, it still loves you and wants you back.           Come?                 Choose youness over newness.                     Originality is overrated.           You never create anything original. When you write stories, you use language invented by someone, words minted by someone else, emotions that have been named decades ago and have come to you through life experiences of self and others, word processor by one company, computer by another, characters and their characteristics from someone you know, their clothes from the catwalks of Paris and what they eat from the menus of the world or Anthony Bourdain's travels.           Originality is overrated. We steal from everywhere. And we should.           From movies, from music, books, paintings, travels, road signs, menus, articles, newsfeeds, poems, dreams, relationships, architecture, buildings, demolitions, bridges, theatre, random conversations, romance, lost love, grief, anger, nature, trees, clouds, light, shadows, water, rivers, avalanches. Life.           Steal like an artist, says Austin Kleon. It's what you do with this stealing that makes the unthinkable, unimaginable, and unreasonable happen. It's your youness that you add to these inspirations that makes the new newness worthy of inspiration. Your authenticity turns the mundane into magic, the ordinary into extraordinary, the unseen into an unputdownable marvel.           It's your you-niqueness that is the divine’s own spiritual signature that has been tattooed on your being which you bring to the world in its full glory. It's your fearless way of looking at life without getting bothered about the judgement of others or the outcome of your creations; it's your freedom with which you create not attached to the idea, or the creative process or the end result, when every act of creating a life of your choice is an offering to the divine; it's your unapologetic playfulness that you bring to everything you do with childlike curiosity and awe; it's the love of manifesting the divine that sits within you, and giving the unmanifested and formless a form of a poem, dish, art, book, story, business, course that you do like only you can.           Choose authenticity over originality, youness over newness.           Jean-Luc Godard the French filmmaker rightly said, 'it's not where you take things from, it's where you take them to'.             Our upcoming retreats                         Andretta Sold Out 2nd to 8th June     To reconnect to your inner child at a beautiful hillside retreat with 14+ soulful individuals will make this a life-transforming experience.
