The one that will make your life meaningful, magical and magnificent.           You do not choose a book; the book that wants to be read by you chooses you, so it can show you a new perspective when you honour your purpose.           You do not choose the story; the story chooses you to be told in the world first by you, before it finds more tellers.           You do not choose your talent or your gifts; they choose you so they can give you joy as you serve others with them.           You don't choose whom you want to serve; they are chosen to choose you, so that their lives can change through you, and you feel fulfilled and purposeful.           You don't choose the bus ride; the bus ride chooses you to bring you closer to your realisation and to the destination where an idea that is waiting to be birthed by you.           You do not choose an idea; an idea chooses you to take birth in this moment in time, so it can bridge the gap between past and future creations in the universe.           You do not choose the destination for travel; the destination chooses you and calls you when you are ready for it.           You do not choose the time; time chooses you when it's the right time.           You do not choose a play; the play chooses you as a character in it.           You do not choose the gift for someone; the gift chooses you to be its messenger as it serves its larger purpose to manifest in the life of someone who has been praying for it.           You do not choose the dog; the dog chooses you to give you unconditional love on days and nights when you feel alone, and in the process, honours its own purpose.           You do not choose a meal; a grain of rice chooses you to nourish you and live its purpose through you. As the saying goes, "daane daane pe likha hai, khaane waala ka naam."           You do not choose a tree to sit under; the tree chooses you so it can drop an apple on your head for you to discover the laws of gravity.           You do not choose your friends or the people in your life; they are chosen to come to you as lessons, tests, or gifts.           You do not choose the path; the path chooses you. The only choice you have is to show up with all your love, surrender, and be grateful when life chooses you.                       Live for the firsts. Or live for the lasts.                     Live for the firsts.           The first love, the first kiss, the first hug.           The first time you fell in love for the third time.           The 75th first hug.           The 8679th first kiss.           Live for the firsts. The first painting. The first film. The first dish. The first book.           The 14th, first painting.           The 43rd, first blog post.           The 11th, first book.           The third, first film.           The 16th, first speaking assignment.           The first time you baked Cinnamon Rolls for the 23rd time.           The first time you created your 8th big business idea.           The first, 55th meditation.           The first time you told a story for the 98th time.           The first time you wrote your 67th poem.           The first time you wrote the 18th stanza in your 67th poem.           The first time you wrote the 3rd word in the 18th stanza in your 67th poem.           The first time you said I love you to the love of your life for the 5656th time.           The first time you watched a sunrise for the umpteenth time.           Live for the first. Make this moment your first and only. Give everything the enthusiasm of newness, the energy of doing it for the first time, the curiosity of what may happen now. When you do something for the first time is when you are totally present to it. And your presence is a gift to this world, it's your signature of love, a brushstroke of your brilliance.           And if making every moment the first doesn't get you going, think that you are doing it for the last time.           Then live for the lasts.           The last hug, the last kiss, the last time you are falling in love, the last painting, the last film you will write and direct, the last fish curry you will make for a loved one, the last book you will read, the last blog post you will write, the last speaking assignment, the last batch of cinnamon rolls that you will bake, the last idea, the last meditation you are showing up for, the last time you are telling your favourite story, the last poem you will ever write, the last sunrise you will every wake up to, the last time you will say I love you.           Now if this thought scares you, think that you are doing everything for the first time. Go to the top and read again.           Devote yourself to the present. Pour yourself into the now.
